Job description

Position: Permanent Emergency Medicine Physician
Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC
Start: Flexible
Coverage: Emergency department, shared call
Practice Setting: 100-bed community hospital within a regional health system
ED: 26 beds, including 6 psych beds
Support: 8 physicians plus NPs and PAs

Hospital Resources:
- Full scope of services including General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Nephrology, and Pediatrics
- 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage
- Telestroke support and onsite cath lab
- Air transport to a tertiary center in Greenville as needed

Requirements:
- BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
- Active North Carolina license, or ability to obtain
