Job Description
Noor Locums is seeking two Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Medford, Oregon (97504). This assignment offers flexible monthly scheduling, competitive incentives, and the opportunity to practice in a high-volume Emergency Department utilizing Epic EMR.

Coverage is needed due to a long-term physician vacancy. The Emergency Department manages approximately 37,000 patient visits annually and seeks physicians comfortable treating a broad spectrum of emergency conditions in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

The greatest current need is night shift coverage, although providers may also have opportunities to work day shifts. Flexible scheduling is available, with many providers working one or two consecutive blocks of shifts each month.

Providers interested exclusively in daytime shifts will not be considered.

Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with medical, surgical, and traumatic emergencies.
Perform comprehensive Emergency Medicine assessments and develop treatment plans.
Stabilize critically ill and injured patients requiring emergent intervention.
Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice.
Interpret laboratory results, diagnostic imaging, ECGs, and other clinical studies.
Admit patients requiring inpatient hospitalization.
Coordinate care with hospitalists, specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary departments.
Accurately document all patient encounters using Epic EMR.
Maintain quality, patient safety, and evidence-based clinical standards.

Job Qualifications
Required
MD or DO
Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 3–5 years of residency) in Emergency Medicine
Active Oregon medical license
Active DEA registration
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Ability to complete credentialing documents promptly (RFA within 48–72 hours and application within approximately 5 days)
Willingness to participate in a Medical Director phone interview
Must be willing to work night shifts (providers seeking only day shifts will not be considered)

Working Hours
Flexible scheduling available.

Current shift options include:

9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (12-hour day shift)
11:00 PM – 6:00 AM (occasionally until 7:00 AM)

Coverage includes:

4–8 shifts per month
One or two consecutive blocks of shifts available
Guaranteed hours based on scheduled shift length
Overtime applies after scheduled guarantee
