Job description

Emergency Medicine physician needed for a South Carolina ER locums opportunity. This is a high volume Level 2 trauma setting with mostly night coverage needed and strong support in place.

Opportunity Details:
Rate: $300/hr range
Setting: Hospital based Emergency Department
Location: Florence, South Carolina area
Trauma Level: Level 2
Annual Volume: About 75k
Shift Need: Mostly nights
Shift Times: Mostly 11p to 7a
Availability Need: Heavy July weekend need
Target Schedule: 15 to 20 shifts per month
ED Details: Newer ED opened in 2021
Exam Rooms: 81 exam rooms plus psych holding
Support: 24/7 physician staffing, APP support, extenders, and scribes
Specialty Support: Imaging, lab, and specialty backup available
Transfer Rate: Low transfer rate
Onboarding: Half day weekday onboarding before first shift

Requirements:
BC in Emergency Medicine
Active SC license
SC DEA
CSR that can remain registered in SC
Must be open to night coverage
