Assignment Details:
• Start Date: September 2026
• Shift Times: 7a–7p and 7p–7a (24-hour ED coverage model), minimum of 5 shifts/month required
• Practice Setting: Emergency Department (hospital-based)
• Annual ED Volume: ~11,411 visits
• Admission Rate: Transfers to main ED as needed
• Peds Percentage: ~20%
• EMR: Cerner
• Radiology: 24/7 CT and ultrasound; no MRI
• Stroke Capability: No comprehensive stroke center, but tPA available with teleneurology support
• Ultrasound: Bedside ultrasound available
• EMS Base Station: Yes

Requirements:
• State License: South Carolina license required
• Board Certification: Emergency Medicine BC/BE required (ABEM eligible required)
• Experience: EM residency trained only; IM/FM with ED experience not considered
• Certifications: ACLS required (ATLS preferred but not current)
