Job Title: Emergency Room Physician

Location: Rosebud, SD

Shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am and 12:00 pm to 12:00 am shifts

Start Date: 1 to 2 months

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room (ER) Physician to provide immediate medical care to patients with urgent and life-threatening conditions. The ER Physician will assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages, ensuring timely and accurate interventions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide rapid evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Stabilize patients experiencing acute medical conditions such as trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, strokes, and other emergencies.
20-bed hospital with onsite hospitalist, 36 hours of MD coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage per day, with rare OB cases.
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Participate in emergency preparedness and disaster response activities.
Adhere to all hospital policies, medical protocols, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:

Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
New graduates are welcome to apply for ABEM
ABIM or ABFM must have 2 years of ER experience.
Valid and unrestricted medical license.
Must have BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (AHA only) certifications.
Strong diagnostic, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
