South East Texas Emergency Medicine Need

Job description

• Must be willing to work minimum 4 shifts/month
• ABEM or AOBEM
• Must be residency trained
• Must have current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Will work 24 hours/day
• Shift times are 6a-6p, 6p-6a
• NP/PAs work 8a-6p, 10a-9p, 5p-3a
• 32,500 annual volume
• EMS % is 29%
• % of admitted patients is 20%
• Level 4 trauma designation
• 23 ED beds
• Specialty backup: Psych, pedi, urology, medicine, ob/gyn, nephrology, ortho, cardio, anesthesia. cath lab
• EMR is Meditech (can train)
• Must have active TX License
