Job description

Position Details
• Start Date: June 1, 2026 – ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Scheduled
• Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Practice Setting
• Inpatient Emergency Department
• 11 beds
• Low-acuity ED; not a trauma, stroke, or cardiac center
• Few EMS arrivals
• L&D separate from ED
• Pediatrician on shift during peak hours
• Standard ED nursing and support staff
Patient & Volume
• 4–5 patients per shift
• Young, generally healthy patient population
• Standard ED procedures (low to mid-acuity)
Requirements
• Board Certification: EM or FM preferred
• State License: Texas required
• Minimum Experience: Any level; non-EM boarded providers comfortable with GYN and pediatric patients accepted
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required for non-ABEM providers
Credentialing
• Timeframe: 60–90 days
• Temporary providers will be considered
