Job description

Emergency Medicine physician needed for a PRN Texas ER coverage opportunity. This is a low volume Level 4 trauma center with 24 hour shifts and potential ongoing dates.

Opportunity Details:
Rate: $120/hr
Setting: Hospital based Emergency Department
Location: West Texas area
Schedule: PRN
Shift Length: 24 hour shifts
Shift Times: 7a to 7a
Current Need: 2 to 3 shifts, exact dates to be confirmed
Potential Future Need: June and July dates may follow
Monthly Volume: About 650 visits
Trauma Level: Level 4
Hospital Size: 36 inpatient beds
ER Beds: 6 patient beds and 1 trauma bed
EMR: Cerner with T System integration
Services: Acute care, swing beds, and inpatient hospice available
Equipment: X ray, CT, MRI, and labs
Backup: Cardiology on call, nephrology on call, radiology onsite, general surgery available
OB: No OB
Pediatrics: Potential pediatric patients

Requirements:
Active TX license
Active Medicare and Medicaid numbers
BC or BE
ACLS and PALS required
ATLS required unless ABEM
Must be open to 24 hour shifts
