Job description

Emergency Medicine physician needed for a part time Central Texas ER locums opportunity. This is a low volume critical access hospital with 12 hour shifts, strong support staff, and temp privileges available.

Rate: $150/hr

Annual Volume: About 8,700
Hospital Size: 25 bed critical access hospital
Shift Length: 12 hour shifts
Shift Times: 6a to 6p and 6p to 6a
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff: 3 to 4 RNs in ED with ER provider
Scribe: Available
Sleep Room: Available
Specialty Support: Ortho, urology, gastroenterology, pain management, cardiology, and podiatry
Temp Privileges: Available with approval
Interview: No formal interview, file reviewed for acceptance

Requirements:
MD or DO
FM, IM, or EM accepted
Recent grads may be considered
Active TX license preferred
Must be comfortable in a critical access ER setting
