West Texas Emergency Medicine Locum Need

Job description

• 12 hour shifts
• No call
• Patient Volume: 18,250 estimated annual volume free-standing ER
• Specialties: Imaging, Lab
• Coverage Model: 24 Hours Physician Coverage - 12 hour shifts
• Number of Beds: 11 bed
• EMR: Cerner
• Education/Training Provider must have completed a residency in EM, FM, or IM
• Clinical Experience Proof of current adequate EM experience within the past 2 years for EM/FM/IM
• License Requirements Active unrestricted TX state medical license and DEA w/ TX
• address & schedules 2,2N,3,3N, 4 & 5; must be fee paid and will not accept fee-exempt
• Board Certification Must be board certified in EM or FM
• Merit Badges / Certifications EM Board Certified - Certifications not required. FM/IM Board
• certified - Current ATLS, ACLS & PALS required.
• Immunization Requirements Current TB Test within 12 months. If TB Test positive provide
• latest Chest X-ray | Hep B | 2 MMR Vaccines | 2 Varicella
• Vaccines or Titers. Tdap Vaccine within the last 10 years |
• Current Flu Vaccine | Covid Vaccine
• Case Log Requirements Past 12 months
• CME/CEU Requirements CME attestation signed in application, copies not required.
• Facility Procedure Requirements Core Privileges listed on DOP's.
