About the clinician's workday

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide locum tenens clinical coverage during 12-hour day and night shifts at this on-site emergency department, evaluating and treating a variety of acute illnesses and injuries across all age groups in a 14-bed department with an annual patient volume of approximately 21,000 visits. Clinicians will collaborate with APPs and coordinate care with available specialty services, including cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, and OB/GYN. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment. No call responsibilities are associated with this position.
