Locum Emergency Medicine Physician | Chest Pain & Stroke Center | Pearland, TX | PRN 12-Hour Shifts, No Call

Job description

Start: January 4, 2027 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks, PRN (ongoing)
Coverage: Emergency department, single-physician coverage
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; days and nights available
Call: No call
Volume: Approximately 25,000 annual ED visits; 12 ED beds
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital, Level IV trauma

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients
• Day shift: 1 physician and 2 APPs; night shift: 1 physician and 1 APP
• Accredited Chest Pain Center with a 24/7 STEMI program, interventional cardiology, and 24-hour cath lab
• Certified Primary Stroke Center (hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke care)
• Air medical transport available on site
• Travel covered: flight, lodging, and rental car

Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
• Active Texas license required
• Must be open to PRN scheduling
• Non-local candidates only (more than 50 miles from the facility)
• Credentialing: approximately 90 days
