Board Certification: American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM), American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)American Board of Medical Specialties FM, IM, EM.
Merit Badge: ACLS, ATLS and PALS if not BC in EM or EM trained. NRP for non-ABEM providers.
53 Acute Care Beds (incl. 5 acuity adj. beds ICU/PCU)
EMR: Epic
No required procedures
Staffing Model: 12-hour shift, (7a-7p, 7p-7a) 7 on/7off schedule
Days: 1 MD
Nights: 1 MD
Tele support for admissions & floor call
Education/Training: Graduate from an accredited 4 year medical school (MD) or an accredited Osteopathic school (DO).Completion of ACGME/AOA, approved 3 year residency program in EM/FM or IM. ECFMG required for foreign medical graduates.
Clinical Experience: New graduates acceptable: EM residency graduates within the past 12 months may be considered. 3-month proctorship required.
