Job Description
Noor Locums is seeking an experienced ABEM Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Walla Walla, Washington. This position offers a consistent monthly schedule, streamlined credentialing, and the opportunity to practice in a busy community emergency department with excellent clinical support.
The Emergency Department treats approximately 30,000 patient visits annually, averages 23 patients per shift, and operates with physician staffing that ranges from single to triple coverage depending on patient volume. The facility utilizes Epic EMR and provides access to comprehensive specialty support, allowing physicians to focus on delivering high-quality emergency care.

Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with medical and surgical emergencies.
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for adult patients.
Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine.
Stabilize critically ill and injured patients.
Admit patients requiring inpatient hospitalization.
Document all patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR.
Collaborate with consulting specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary departments.
Ensure timely patient disposition while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required)
Active Washington medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
Active DEA registration
Clean credentialing history for expedited onboarding
Ability to return credentialing and privilege paperwork promptly
Preferred Skills
Strong Emergency Medicine clinical decision-making
Trauma evaluation and stabilization
Airway management and advanced resuscitation
Emergency procedures including suturing, fracture management, and procedural sedation
Critical care management
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
