This well-respected medical center is a renowned academic and clinical institution located in the heart of Seattle, known for delivering exceptional patient-centered care across a wide range of specialties. The Emergency Department operates in a structured, collaborative environment supported by a dedicated team of RNs and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system, ensuring streamlined and efficient patient care.

Board Certified - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients in a medium to high acuity setting
- Manage 8-14 patients per day, primarily medical cases with low trauma volume
- Work collaboratively with attending physicians to manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions
- Ensure effective patient handoffs and communication with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Must be available to work varied shifts including mid (11a-8p), AM (7a-4p weekdays, 7a-3p weekends), and PM (2p-11p weekdays, 3p-11p weekends) shifts, with potential for overnight shifts (6p-3a or 10p-7a) in 2027
- Ideal availability of approximately 2 weeks of coverage per month (15 shifts) on an ongoing basis through 2027
- Willingness to cover some holidays is required
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM/AOBEM) required
- Active Washington State medical license required; IMLC not accepted
- Emergency Medicine Fellowship required for physicians
- Clean background and malpractice history required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA certifications required
- EMR: EPIC
Compensation:
