Locum Emergency Medicine Physician | Urgent Oct–Nov Need | Moses Lake, WA | 12-Hour Nights, No Call

Job description

Start: October 26, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: October–November (13 weeks)
Coverage: Emergency department
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, primarily nights (19:00–7:00); day (7:00–19:00) and swing (10:00–22:00) shifts also available; 10+ shifts per month
Call: No call
Volume: About 24,000 annual ED visits; about 2 patients per hour; 36 hours of physician coverage per day; 11% admission rate
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients
• Supervision of APPs required
• Conscious sedation required (no overnight anesthesia on site)
• Documentation in Epic
• Temporary privileges available; weekday onsite orientation

Requirements
• EM residency trained; ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active Washington license required (pending license not accepted)
• WA DEA required
• ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• EM experience within at least the last 6 months
• Case logs from the last 12 months required for credentialing
• Must have October–November availability
