This hospital is a well-established healthcare facility that provides comprehensive emergency and urgent care services to the community. The facility features a 13-bed emergency department with strong support services and utilizes advanced telemedicine capabilities including Telestroke and Tele ICU services, plus has UW helicopter services on-site for critical care transport.

Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:
• Provide emergency medicine services in a combined ED/UC setting with approximately 40-60 patients per 24-hour period
• Handle 20 patient encounters per shift in a 13-bed emergency department
• Work collaboratively with General Surgery, Orthopedics, OBGYN, and Hospitalist teams
• Utilize Telestroke and Tele ICU services to support patient care
• Immediate need for night shifts July 3-5 with ongoing coverage needs of 14-16 shifts per month
• Level 4 trauma facility with 24-hour support services including Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR Response, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology
• Must be board certified with ACLS and ATLS certifications required
• Wisconsin license required or IMLC eligibility
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Lodging available at Best Western Portage with easy access to Madison airport (MSN)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
