Endocrinology - FT M-F no call - Mount Vernon, IL

Job description

Start and End Date: 8/31/26 – 12/11 with option to extend
Assignment Start Date: 8/31/26 or 9/8/2026. Two weeks of coverage per month. We have someone we are replacing that is currently scheduled through the end of the year. If possible, we would like to keep their current schedule and then provider can select their weeks ongoing beginning in January.
8/31-9/4, 9/8-9/11, 9/28-10/2, 10/5-10/9, 10/26-10/30, 11/2-11/6, 11/30-12/4, 12/7-12/11
Schedule Details: (start / end times, days of the week, etc): Monday – Friday 8a-5p. Last patient scheduled at 4:15p.

Work Details:
Support staff: RN, diabetes educator, dietitian, 1 APP
Department Description: Endocrinology / outpatient clinic
Patient Volume: 12-15
Patient Age Group: adult and geri
EMR/Documentation System: EPIC
Special Procedures/Unit Details: common conditions managed are hyper/hypo thyroid, graves/ disease, thyroid nodules, pituitary issues, diabetes. Can do FNA.

Requirements:
Provider type (MD/DO or NP/PA): MD/DO
Board Certifications Req’d: BC Internal Medicine
Fellowship Req’d: Endocrinology required
State License(s) Req’d: Yes
Certifications Req’d? (BLS / ACLS / etc): BLS
Specific Skills Req’d: common conditions managed are hyper/hypo thyroid, graves/ disease, thyroid nodules, pituitary issues, diabetes. Can do FNA. Solo physician with one APP.
