Part Time Endocrinology Locum

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Endocrinologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Ohio, with an ASAP start. This is a great opportunity to join a busy endocrinology practice with strong APP support and a predictable schedule.

Position Details

Specialty: Endocrinology

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 6 months

Schedule: 3 days per week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Coverage Needed: 24 hours/week

Patients per Day: 16–18

Practice Setting: Outpatient department with some inpatient responsibilities


Clinical Scope

Primarily outpatient endocrinology

Inpatient responsibilities as needed

General endocrinology care (no procedures required)

Adult patient population (18+ through lifespan)

Practice has a high volume with a strong focus on diabetes management


Requirements

Board Certified in Endocrinology

Active Ohio license (IMLC LOQ accepted)

DEA required

• Ongoing for 6 months
• No Call
• Primarily outpatient endocrinology with inpatient responsibilities
