Locums Family Practice NP in San Jose, CA

Job description

Schedule: Outpatient, scheduled shifts; no call
Start: ASAP
Setting: Mobile clinic + brick-and-mortar clinic (provider will split time)

Position Highlights
Must be fluent in Spanish
Outpatient primary care for all ages (pediatrics + adults)
Avg census: 18 patients/day (21+ preferred)
EMR: EPIC
Full support during onboarding; 1-week orientation (Mon–Fri) required

Requirements
Discipline: Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice
Experience: 2+ years outpatient primary care
Comfortable seeing children and adults
Must be willing to work in a mobile clinic
Certifications: BLS
Board Certified preferred (BE accepted)
DEA: Required
CA license: Required (in hand)

Work locations vary across brick-and-mortar, school-based, and mobile clinics; flexibility preferred
More detailed clinical expectations provided during interview
Credentialing: ≤30 days
Not open to licensing candidates
