Good Evening!

We are actively seeking multiple Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for a locum tenens opportunity in a busy outpatient setting located in the Bay Area. This is a high-demand need with a fast interview process and strong likelihood of securing an assignment quickly.

Start Date: Mid-June (flexible)
Length: 3–6 months with extension potential
Schedule:

Weekdays: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Weekends: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Option to pick up additional hours at a nearby clinic to reach 40 hours/week


Setting: Outpatient / FQHC
Patient Volume: 18–22 patients per day (~3 patients per hour)

Clinical Scope:

Full-scope family medicine and urgent care
Chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, etc.)
Medication management
Preventive care and wellness visits
Pap smears and routine procedures

Requirements:

Active California license
Board Certified
Active DEA and furnishing license
Must be registered with Medi-Cal
NP/PA with 3+ years of experience preferred
Ability to see adult and adolescent patients

Additional Details:

EMR: Epic
Credentialing: 2–3 weeks (quick turnaround)
Support Staff: 1 MA per provider
Onboarding includes EMR training and ramp-up period
Scribe tools available
Travel and expenses covered
Compensation: Negotiable
