Family Medicine APP – Locum Tenens

Location: Inglewood, California\
Start Date: Upon credentialing, approximately February 2027\
Assignment Length: 6 months\
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts starting at 8:00 AM. Some flexibility for 12-hour shifts may be available depending on clinic location. Four 10-hour shifts are not an option.

Job Details

- Specialty: Family Practice
- Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day
- EMR: Epic
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
- Language Requirement: Must speak at least medical Spanish
- Board Certification: Board Certified in Family Practice required for APPs
- Board Eligibility: May be considered with a strong explanation and demonstrated clinical competency
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS
- DEA: Required
- California License: Required; facility is not willing to assist with licensing
- Malpractice History: Clean malpractice history preferred. Significant malpractice history will not be accepted; other cases may be reviewed individually.

Clinical Support

Robust clinical support is available at all locations, including:

- Medical Assistants
- Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)
- On-site Behavioral Health services
- Multiple resources at each clinic

Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 12–14 weeks

Ideal Candidate

An experienced Family Medicine APP with an active California license, DEA registration, strong clinical skills, medical Spanish proficiency, and the ability to provide full-time outpatient care. Candidates should be comfortable seeing approximately 18 patients per day and working a five-day schedule.
