Advanced Practitioners - Primary Care

Job Details:

  • Join a 100% outpatient primary care Family Medicine practice serving patients from birth and older
  • Open to Family Nurse Practitioners (APRN) and Physician Assistants
  • Full-time position, weekdays only (Monday through Friday) with flexible schedule options available
  • No call required
  • Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
  • Develop plans for further evaluation of patient health needs, including referrals to specialists and other health team members
  • Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of practice and refer outside-of-scope cases to the collaborating physician
  • Work under established guidelines in collaboration with and/or supervision of the practice physician(s)
  • Must hold an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License or be eligible to obtain one
  • Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a primary care or relevant outpatient setting required
