Family Nurse Practitioner – Locum Tenens – Fayetteville, GA Area

Job description

A large integrated health system in the Fayetteville, GA area (Atlanta metro) is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage in an outpatient family medicine clinic.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No call. Patient volume averages 20 per shift. Coverage runs approximately June 10, 2026 through September 30, 2026 (start dates flexible). EMR is Epic; training is provided every other week (8a–4:30p) after credentialing.

Requirements: Board-eligible Family NP, active Georgia license, BLS certification. ACLS, ATLS, PALS not required. Credentialing timeline approximately 21 days. Malpractice insurance provided through the agency.

Location: Fayetteville is a growing suburban community south of Atlanta, offering easy access to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the cultural amenities of metro Atlanta.
