Job description

A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the Glenns Ferry / Mountain Home, ID area (45–65 minutes southeast of Boise) is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 180-day locum tenens assignment. The position runs June (or ASAP) through December 2026, with full-time hours and potential to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Coverage & Benefits:
• Housing provided by the client
• Travel covered (one round-trip flight)
• Rental car provided
• Active Idaho license required

The Position:
• Combination of Primary Care and Urgent Care
• FQHC setting serving an underserved patient population
• Seeing all ages of patients
• 15–20 patients per day
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Saturday coverage once per month, with a weekday off when working Saturday
• No call

The Location:
Mountain Home (population ~32,000) and Glenns Ferry (population ~1,500) are located in Elmore County in southwestern Idaho. The area offers a small-town lifestyle within easy reach of Boise, with outdoor recreation including fishing, hiking, and the Snake River nearby.
