The facility operates with a collaborative team of physicians and mid-level providers, utilizing EPIC as their documentation system to support efficient and quality patient care.
Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Family Medicine
Job Details:
- Temporary coverage position needed until a permanent hired provider is able to start, with a tentative start date of August 3, 2026 and a minimum estimated need of 12 weeks
- Will accept NP/PA or MD/DO for this role - only 1 provider is needed
- Practice population focused on Adult/Geriatric patients
- Work schedule is full-time Monday through Thursday - no on-call or weekend requirements
- 2-3 exam rooms available with EPIC as the documentation/EMR system
- Perform evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
- Perform gynecological procedures including pelvic exams and Pap smears
- Conduct occupational medicine procedures including disability exams
- No supervisory responsibilities over other healthcare providers
- No backup coverage expected for the ED
- Temporary privileges available with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 10 business days
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be board certified within 3 years of finishing) - Required
- Minimum 1 year of primary care experience - Required
- Active DEA and active Michigan license required
- Must be local to Michigan as a drive-in provider - Required
- BLS certification required
- Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date - Required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
