Locums Women's Health NP /FNP in Missouri
Job description
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) for a 12-week assignment with the potential to extend. This opportunity focuses on increasing access to primary care and women's health services through a mobile healthcare program serving rural and underserved communities.
Position Details
Assignment Dates: July 1, 2026 – October 1, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Occasional Saturdays: 1–2 per month as needed
No Call Requirements
Potential for schedule flexibility with advance notice
Practice Setting
This provider will work in a mobile health unit delivering care directly to communities with limited healthcare access. The Advanced Practice Provider will serve as the clinical lead while deployed in the field and will collaborate with a supervising physician.
Patient Population
Ages 14 through geriatric
Approximately 12 patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities
Women's health / Primary care services
Preventive care and wellness visits
Biometric screenings
Chronic disease management
Women's health services, including Pap smears
Patient education and follow-up care
Community outreach initiatives
Support & Resources
Dedicated Medical Assistant
Patient Service Representative / Community Engagement Coordinator

Ideal Candidate
Team-oriented and adaptable
Comfortable working in a mobile healthcare environment
Willing to cross-train and support operational needs
Strong interest in community health and increasing access to care
Experience in primary care and/or women's health preferred
Requirements
Active Nurse Practitioner license
Medicare and Medicaid enrollment eligibility
Ability to obtain facility privileges and complete credentialing
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60+ days, depending on experience
