Facility:
This facility is part of Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans. They provide Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans across multiple locations in Nevada.

General Medicine Provider

Job Details:
• Perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans • Multiple location options: Provider's own office, Pahrump (1/2 day per week, 20-mile radius preferred), Gardnerville/Minden (1 day per week, 30-mile radius preferred), or Ely (1/2 day per week, 50-mile radius required) • PRN basis, ongoing need with flexible scheduling • Option to work half days (4 hours) and/or full days (8 hours) • Primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessment (range of motion testing, muscle strength testing) • No prescribing or treatment involved • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Eligible specialties include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or providers with background in general medicine • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products allowed) • Must have active AANP certification • Requires active and unrestricted full Nevada license • Must complete DMA training and certification • Not available to active military duty, reserves, or those actively employed at the VA • Follow-up administrative work required (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics) • Local candidates only, travel included in rates • One-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.

Estimated Hourly Rate: $85 - $100
