Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner (Bilingual Bengali) – Bronx, NY (#3414)

Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Employment Type: Part-time
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000/year (full-time equivalent; prorated for part-time)

Overview:
A multi-specialty outpatient practice in the Bronx is seeking a Bilingual Bengali Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care services in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. This role is ideal for providers passionate about delivering culturally competent care to diverse communities.

Responsibilities:
✔ Perform comprehensive physical exams and patient assessments
✔ Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions
✔ Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests and lab results
✔ Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
✔ Educate patients and families on preventive care and disease management
✔ Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
✔ Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
✔ Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Qualifications:
✔ Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
✔ Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
✔ Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
✔ 1 year of experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
✔ Must be bilingual in Bengali or have experience supporting Bengali-speaking communities
✔ Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
✔ Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) preferred
