Family Practice Nurse Practitioner Needed in Washington
Target Start Date: February 19, 2026
Contract Length: 2–3 month locum tenens assignment (short‑term coverage during onboarding of new APP) (potential ongoing assignment)

Schedule
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only
Shift Structure:

Monday–Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

24 hours per week
Call: None

Orientation:

February 19–20 (two days of orientation at nearby site)

Begin seeing patients in clinic on February 23

Practice Details
Setting: Rural outpatient primary care clinic
Patient Volume: ~10–18 patients per day
Patient Population: All ages — infants through geriatrics
Support Staff:

1 receptionist

1 CMA

1 RN

EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope Includes:

Full‑spectrum primary care for all ages

Evaluations, follow‑ups, chronic disease management

Preventive care and acute visits

Independent practice — no physician onsite

Additional Notes:

NPs only (no PAs accepted due to physician‑oversight requirements)

Ideal candidate lives locally and can commute; limited temporary housing in the area

Requirements
Board Certification: Required

License: Active Washington license required (not willing to license)

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, Washington CSR

Experience: Minimum 2 years in primary care

EMR Experience: Epic preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: Standard onboarding; short assignment
