About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide outpatient primary care services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The expected caseload is 8-16 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing injury management, acute illness treatment, follow-up visits, physicals, complicated chronic care management, urgent care, and minor procedures. Required credentials include an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification (negotiable), BLS, Washington state license, DEA registration, and COVID vaccination; prescriptive authority is required. Clinicians with experience in corrections-based healthcare and comfort performing sutures and injections are preferred, though these qualifications are not required.
