Location:
• Aberdeen, WA
• Spanaway, WA
• Ocean Shores, WA

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Assignment Length: 3 months, with the possibility of extension
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
Credentialing: Approximately 2–3 weeks

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to provide full-time coverage in an outpatient community health center. Providers must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, seeing patients of all ages, and caring for diverse and underserved populations.

Start Date Requirements:

* Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of presentation.

* Exceptions may be considered for providers who have previously worked with us before

Clinical Responsibilities

* Provide outpatient family medicine and ambulatory care.

* Treat patients from newborns through geriatrics.

* Manage acute and chronic conditions, including same-day walk-in visits.

* Perform basic procedures, including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.

* Manage up to 18 patients per day in a fast-paced setting.

* Provide pediatric care; prior pediatric experience is strongly preferred.

Practice Setting

* Community health center serving migrants, refugees, and other vulnerable populations.

* Outpatient family medicine, walk-in/acute care, and chronic disease management.

* Epic EMR.

* Onsite interpretation services available.

* Bilingual providers are preferred but not required.

Support Staff

* Dedicated medical assistant for each provider.

* Receptionist support.

* Mental health therapists and dietitians.

* Most clinics have an onsite pediatrician.

* Local healthcare administrator available for timecard submission.

Schedule & Orientation

* Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

* 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour workday and 1-hour unpaid lunch.

* One week of onsite orientation and ramp-up.

* Providers are expected to begin seeing patients by Day 3 and be ready to work independently.

Travel & Lodging

Travel expenses are covered within the following limits:

* **Round-trip airfare:** Up to $700

* **Rental car:** Up to $2,000/month, or mileage reimbursement

* **Lodging:** Up to $3,000/month

Requirements

* Board certification required.

* Active Washington state license required; unlicensed candidates will not be considered.

* Active Washington DEA required.

* Minimum 2 years of NP experience.

* Clean background required.

* No malpractice history will be considered.

* COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required.

* Additional certifications, such as BLS or ACLS, will be discussed during credentialing. Providers are responsible for obtaining any required certifications.
