Family PA – Locum Tenens – Fayetteville, GA

Job description

A well-established multi-specialty medical group in the Fayetteville, Georgia area (suburban Atlanta) is seeking a Physician Assistant in Family Practice for locum tenens coverage at one of their outpatient medical offices. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Practice PA to provide quality outpatient care in a supportive team environment.

Coverage Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM in the clinic
- Coverage Type: No call
- Reason for Coverage: Supplemental
- Start Date: June 10, 2026 (or as credentialing allows)
- End Date: September 30, 2026
- Department: Family Medicine / Internal Medicine
- EMR: Epic (training provided after credentialing – biweekly sessions, 8 AM – 4:30 PM)

Practice Details:
- Setting: Outpatient clinic
- Approximately 20 patients per shift
- No hospital privileges required
- No admissions or rounding

Requirements:
- Active Georgia PA license (in-state license required)
- BLS certification required
- Board certification (eligible or certified)
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: ~21 days
- Provider must complete a protocol agreement with the GCMB prior to start
