Physician Opportunity – ASAP Start

Contract: 3 months with option to extend
Urgent Need: NIGHTS (must be open to nights & weekends)

Position Snapshot

Specialty: Hospitalist Physician

Setting: Hospital-based

EMR: Epic

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule & Shifts

12-hour shifts: 6 PM – 6 AM

Schedule: 7 consecutive shifts

Coverage need: Preferably 2 weeks per month

Call: Rotating

Flexibility: Must be willing to work nights and weekends

Workload

Patients per day: 18–22

Requirements

Board Certified: ABIM or Family Medicine

License: Active Alaska license in hand (required)

Orientation & Onboarding

2-hour onboarding session covering EMR and local quality measures

Two shadow shifts following onboarding for a smooth transition
