Locum Family Medicine Physician | Outpatient Clinic | Ketchikan, AK | Mon–Fri, No Call, No Rounding

Job description

Start: As soon as credentialed (ideally late November 2026)
Length: Through May 2027
Coverage: Outpatient family medicine clinic
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00–17:00
Call: No call; no rounding or admissions
Volume: 16–18 patients per day
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic affiliated with a critical access hospital
Patient Population: All ages
Procedures: Desired but not required: skin excisions/punch biopsies, Nexplanon and IUD, cryotherapy, toenail avulsions

• Outpatient family medicine for patients of all ages
• Independent (solo) practice
• Optional occasional coverage (about 1 week per month) at a nearby island clinic
• Documentation in Epic

Requirements
• Board Certified in Family Medicine (Internal Medicine considered)
• Alaska license highly preferred; willing to license
• BLS required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• 3.5–5 years of experience preferred
• Case logs showing at least 20 admissions as admitting physician in the past 2 years
• Epic experience required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
