Family Medicine Locum Need in Sunny California

Job description

Start Date: January 2026
Contract Length: 3–6 months, ongoing
Shift Options: 5×8s or 4×10s
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p (flexible to 7a–4p or 9a–6p)
Call Requirements: None

Work Details

Support Staff: MAs and LVNs; each provider is assigned an MA, with LVN support as needed

Coverage Need: Full-time

Patient Volume: 23–25 patients per day (approx. 3 patients/hour) with 30 minutes of daily admin time

Patient Population: All ages

EMR: eClinicalWorks (ECW)

Requirements

Board Certification: Required

License: Active CA license required

DEA: CA DEA required

Certifications: BLS required

Experience: Open to new grads; preference for 2+ years of experience

Credentialing

Timeframe: 30–45 days
