Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join a community-based clinic in Gilroy, California on a locum tenens basis. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and health education in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
Manage acute and chronic conditions for a diverse patient population.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic health record.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA certification required
Prior outpatient or community health experience preferred
Commitment to delivering inclusive, culturally competent patient care
