Overview

A mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician with OB experience for a locum tenens assignment in a coastal Northern California community.

This is a full-spectrum Family Medicine role with a strong emphasis on outpatient care and prenatal management, offering the opportunity to serve a diverse and underserved patient population in a collaborative, community-focused setting.

Position Details
Pay: $180 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per day
Call: Rotating call schedule
Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic with prenatal focus
Patient Mix: Combination of scheduled and walk-in visits

Scope of Practice
Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care across all ages
Manage prenatal patients and ensure continuity of care
Deliver preventive care and chronic disease management
Collaborate with hospital partners for higher levels of care
Participate in team-based care supporting underserved and rural populations

OB & Delivery Information
Primary focus is outpatient prenatal management
Delivery participation is to be determined based on privileging and facility needs
Opportunity for expanded OB scope may be available depending on experience and site requirements

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
OB experience required
Active California medical license required
