Position Overview

Arc Health is seeking a Family Medicine physician to provide outpatient primary care in a mission-driven healthcare setting in Northern California. This is a full-time locum tenens opportunity with the option to transition into a long-term or permanent role.

This position focuses primarily on adult and geriatric care, with an emphasis on chronic disease management and complex conditions. You will have the time and support to build meaningful patient relationships while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Position Details
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per day
Setting: Outpatient primary care
EMR: Epic with on-site support
Compensation: $150 per hour

Clinical Environment

You will work within a collaborative, team-based model designed to support both providers and patients.
Pod system includes Medical Assistant, RN, Medical Receptionist, and administrative support
Strong infrastructure that allows you to focus on patient care
Collaborative environment with access to specialty consultation

Scope of Practice
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
Perform comprehensive physical exams for adult and geriatric patients
Manage chronic diseases including diabetes and cardiovascular conditions
Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
