> Physician for an ongoing hospitalist locum tenens assignment beginning
> August 4. Candidates must be available for ongoing month-to-month
> coverage.

> Position Details
>
> * Start Date: August 4, ongoing
>
> * Schedule:
>
> * Primary need: Night Shift Hospitalist, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
> * Additional coverage opportunities may include Med2 and Med3 day
> shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
>
> * Inpatient setting
> * EMR: Meditech
>
> Patient Volume
>
> * Average of 6-8 admissions per shift
>
> Scope of Practice
> Night shift hospitalists will be credentialed and expected to manage
> critically ill patients in the ICU, including performing:
>
> * Central venous catheter placement
> * Arterial line placement
> * Endotracheal intubation
> * Ventilator management
> * Other standard critical care procedures as needed
>
> Requirements
>
> * Board Certified in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM)
> * Active California medical license
> * Active DEA
> * Current BLS certification
> * Required immunizations and credentialing documentation
> * Three physician references who have worked directly with the
> candidate for at least one year
>
> Compensation
>
> * $200 per hour
>
