Assignment Length:** 13–26 Weeks (3–6 Months)

Schedule:** 3–5 Days per Week
Shift:** Days (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
Call Requirement:** None

Job Summary

We are seeking a **Family Practice Physician (MD)** for a locum tenens outpatient assignment in California. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in a community-based outpatient setting. Coverage may include traditional clinics, school-based health centers, or mobile care units based on operational needs.

Practice Details

* Outpatient setting
* Patient population: Pediatrics through adults
* Average patient volume: Approximately 18 patients per day
* EPIC electronic medical record (EMR)
* Opportunity to supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, as needed
* No call responsibilities

Qualifications

* Active California Physician License required
* Active DEA registration required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
* Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible accepted
* Minimum of 2 years of Family Practice physician experience
* Comfortable treating patients of all ages in an outpatient setting
