Family Medicine Locums | Lancaster, CA | M-F 8a-5p | No Call | Epic | Full-Time Outpatient Clinic

Job description

Start: September 21, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)
Coverage: Full-time outpatient clinic coverage
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00-17:00 (5x8s); slight flexibility available - 7a-4p, 8a-5p, or 9a-6p
Call: No call
Volume: 23-25 patients/day (approx. 3 patients/hour) with 30 minutes of admin time
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic
Support Staff: MAs and LVNs; every provider is assigned an MA, with LVN backup as needed
EMR: Epic
Orientation billed at 50%

Full-scope outpatient family medicine for a patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics
Routine and chronic disease management, preventive care, and acute visits
Timely documentation in Epic

Requirements
Board Certified in Family Medicine (BC required - board eligible will not be accepted)
California license and California DEA required (not open to licensing)
BLS certification required
New grads considered if board certified; 2+ years of experience preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days
Interview Process: Typically 2 interviews, occasionally 3
