This primary care clinic is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine physician to provide locum tenens coverage following the resignation of the full-time physician. The facility maintains established clinical workflows and on-site support staff to facilitate consistent and quality care delivery. Credentialing for this position is estimated at 3-4 weeks.

Florida offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and water-based recreational activities throughout the year. The state's natural landscapes support experiences including snorkeling, dolphin tours, fishing charters, and airboat excursions through the Everglades, where wildlife such as alligators and birds may be observed along the Tamiami Trail. Clinicians will also find hiking trails, farm and food tours, sightseeing cruises, and nature reserves distributed across regions spanning the Florida Keys, Gulf Coast, and Central and North Florida.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide clinic-based primary care services to patients of all ages during day shift hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The expected caseload is 15-18 patients per day, with on-site support from front desk and medical assistant staff. Clinical documentation is maintained through EPIC EMR.
