Family Practice Physician – Brighton Reservation, FL

Location: Okeechobee, FL

Position Highlights
$270,000–$300,000/year
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Fully onsite
EMR: Nextgen
10–15 patients per day
Approximately 2-week credentialing timeline
Board Certification preferred, not required
3–5 years of clinical experience preferred
Fully staffed clinic with MAs, LPNs, RNs, and NPs

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine care to ambulatory patients
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
Prescribe medications, vaccinations, therapies, and appropriate treatments
Educate patients and families regarding their health and treatment plans
Refer patients to specialists and outside facilities when appropriate
Provide medical consultation and support to NPs and other clinical staff
Collaborate with allied health programs and community health services
Identify trends in disease and injury and help develop programs to improve community health

Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Current, unrestricted Florida medical license
Family Medicine background
3–5 years of postgraduate experience preferred
Board Certification preferred, but not required
Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Valid Florida Driver’s License
