Traveling FM/IM Physician – Southern Illinois | High-Efficiency Schedule + Early Days

An established post-acute care group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for a unique, high-efficiency role across skilled nursing facilities in Southern Illinois within the St. Louis metro region.

Providers will rotate between facilities in Godfrey, Alton, Cahokia, Mt. Vernon, and Mascoutah—covering just one site per day for streamlined workflow and continuity. This is a Monday–Friday schedule with a productivity-based structure: once you’ve seen the 16-patient minimum, your day is typically complete—often in about 6 hours.

The role focuses on adult patient care (18+) in skilled nursing settings, with occasional responsibility for admissions. Providers will work within PCC and a newly implemented Arrista EMR system.

With quick credentialing (around 2 weeks) and a 3-month assignment that may extend, this is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking flexibility, autonomy, and efficient earning potential in a structured yet dynamic environment.
