Locum Emergency Medicine Physician | New ED, Christmas Coverage | Marion, IN | 12-Hour Shifts, FM/IM Considered

Job description

Start: December 24, 2026
Length: December 24–26 (plus additional dates as available)
Coverage: Emergency department
Schedule: 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00, 12:00, or 19:00 (no 24-hour shifts)
Call: No call
Volume: About 25,000 annual visits; 36 hours of MD coverage daily; single coverage 3:00–7:00
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital, Level IV trauma, with a new ER building: 7 treatment rooms, 2 behavioral health rooms, 2 trauma rooms, and 4 observation rooms

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients
• Mix of mid-level providers and physicians
• Travel covered

Requirements
• EM trained and Board Certified preferred; FM/IM physicians considered if ABEM certified or with extensive ER experience
• Active Indiana license, Indiana CSR, and DEA required at submission
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
