Family Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Michigan

About the facility

Multiple internal medicine and family medicine clinic locations are seeking locum tenens coverage to support ongoing patient care needs. Each facility operates with a full clinic staff, including APP support, and follows established clinical protocols to ensure continuity of care. Temporary credentials are available to enable clinicians to begin assignments promptly.

Michigan offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor recreation and natural landscapes suited to varied interests. The state features regional parks and nature-based attractions, as well as opportunities for interactive outdoor experiences. Clinicians will find a variety of regional attractions and activities available throughout the state during time away from assignment.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages at multiple clinic locations, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The expected caseload is 20-22 patients per day, with APP staff available to assist with inbox management. Clinicians will utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation throughout each shift. Board certification is required for this assignment.
