Medical Director role
Schedule: 8 am – 5 pm
Full time or part time?: FT
FM MD
Board Certified or Board Eligible? Board Certified
Type of support staff Ex: (RNS, MAs, etc.)? 2 or 3-MAs
Will they be clinical or admin or both? Yes, both clinical and admin
If clinical and admin – what’s the schedule breakdown? 70% Clinical/30% Admin
What does the admin day entail? Chart reviews, Team meetings as well as Executive Strategic Planning
How many providers would they be overseeing? 50-60 staff – 4-5 clinical providers
Who would they be reporting to? President and CEO
Would they just be at one site or multiple? 2 sites within a 2 mile radius
Would they be “on call” outside of their onsite hours? On call in case of emergency
Would you prefer a 3, 6, or 9 month locum assignment before transitioning? 3 months
Is the EMR still Athena? Athena and eCris
Patient per day? Expected to see 25-30 patients per day – However, 30 minute patient blocks
Are they still needing to be Board Certified? Yes, Board Certified
Support Staff? Yes, there is support staff
Interview Process? Initial screening call with Beverly Simpson and Dorothy Austin; Final Interview with President/CEO (acting CMO) & Chief of Psychiatry
Is credentialing still 2-3 weeks? Depends on individual
Open to Part time providers as well as Full time? Full Time
Open to covering with Mileage? NO
Open to covering Lodging if the provider hadn’t moved closer to the area yet? NO
