Family Medicine Physician Needed in MN (C-Section Experience Required)

Job description

Work 1 full week (7 consecutive days) every 5–6 weeks
On-call during that week: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM daily
During on-call week:
3 days in walk-up clinic (average 18 patients/day per provider)
Saturday: 3.5 hours covering pre-op and hospital visits
Position Details:
Ideal but not required: OB. C-section experience. C Section is required
Rural hospital setting with a collaborative care team
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
Board Certification: Required in Family Medicine
Minnesota State License: Required
COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
Work every 5-6 weeks, 7 days each work week with 24/7 call coverage
13 patients per day split between two providers
Walk-in clinic 3 days per week plus Saturday 3.5 hours
Hospital rounding 2-7 patients per day with 0-4 admissions
Call coverage includes nursing home calls and ER backup
Pre-ops and hospital follow-up visits 2 days per week
Optional obstetrics including deliveries and c-sections
Hospitalist coverage from 7 pm – 7 am
