PHYSICIAN - Family Medicine, OB Fellowship

Job Details:
• One-year fellowship program for Family Medicine physicians seeking advanced obstetrics training
• Six months dedicated to management of routine and high-risk obstetrics
• Develop competence in operative deliveries and Cesarean sections
• Expand skills in ultrasound, newborn resuscitation/stabilization, and colposcopy
• Curriculum includes 24 weeks obstetrics, 12 weeks outpatient primary care, 8 weeks emergency medicine/trauma/critical care, and 4 weeks electives
• Participate in education of University of Minnesota medical students and Duluth Family Medicine residents
• Must have completed 3-year ACGME or AOA accredited family medicine residency
• Board certified or board eligible required
• Active Minnesota medical license required
• MD/DO degree required
• No H-1 or J-1 visa sponsorship available
• Application period: January 1 - October 1
• Selection process includes on-site interviews with decisions made by December 1
• 1-2 positions available
